Hey, I'm Dani, I help creative entrepreneurs create content strategies that work, using marketing psychology and raw data. I love putting ideas to paper and simplifying the overwhelm, so they never have to doubt how they're going to do it again.

I'm a big believer that every business should do good things for the world. Online businesses have an amazing opportunity to impact thousands online. And I want to help them make that happen.

a little bit sweet and A little bit salty

I wasn't always into writing, I guess. Not for work at least. I actually took a class in Journalism in college and when that first assignment was handed back, covered in red ink from the prof, I was pretty sure I'd never write another damn word again.

I was, however, pretty good at telling a story. When I dived into the marketing world, it was completely on accident. I had just had a baby and wanted to write about how bad at momming I was. I taught myself how to build a website, create a brand, and hit publish on my first blog. From there, I realized I had nothing else to say really. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

But I did find out I had a knack for looking like I had a whole lot to say. That blog that I gave up on within months of launching, opened up a whole new passion. Marketing psychology.

One website led to building more websites for money, which led to writing more copy for more money, which led to creating marketing strategies.

After 8 years of working with hundreds of business owners, I found one common thread of problems setting them back. They thought that all they needed was a brand, a beautiful website, or some reels where they uncomfortably showing up, staring at the camera with eyes that shout, "Is this what I should be doing?"

But what they really needed was to remember the passion they forgot about when they created their business in the first place and a strategy that worked for them. Not just all the "shoulds" the internet was tossing out. 

What I found was that no one was actually creating content they wanted to create and that's exactly where I like to start. If you're content feels hard or doesn't feel natural, that's probably why you a. aren't doing it and b. don't get  engagement on it. 

I BELIEVE IN:

Honest conversations, post-it note to-do lists, and normalizing the big feelings in starting a business.

I'm NOT ABOUT:

People pleasing, limited beliefs, long emails, or doing work I don't care about. 

YOU CAN FIND ME:

Avoiding exercise, helping some businesses write stuff, with my family on some kind of adventure, trying to figure out what some font I saw somewhere it.

Non-fiction reading, nerding out on data with coffee, cuddles with my kids that are cooler than me + my husband who cooks better than me, skipping breakfast, and rifling through my Asana.
